I went to zumba tonight with my Bean. Friday is not a normal zumba night for us, but one of our favorite instructors was subbing, so we had to go! Before class, the instructor in question posted a request for music. I should’ve known it was a set up! I posted a song that she hadn’t used in awhile…..little did I know that I would get called to the front of the class when my request was played! After the inital shock, I went up front and had a ball!
To me, you should have fun while working out. However, I know that every workout is NOT fun! OK – let me clarify, I have fun, but sometimes the workouts are HARD! Especially, the ones with my trainer. He is a beast in more ways than one, and I say that with love. My trainer has taught me some amazing things and has helped me whittle off the inches!
Back to zumba. I’m all over the place tonight. I love to dance. I have danced since I was 6 years old. Now, zumba allows me to dance AND get my sweat on. Where can you go wrong with that?!? I try to get to zumba at least 2-3 times per week. I tap once a week and work out with my trainer once a week. During a great week, I get 5 workouts in. Not too shabby. I will get 3 in this week – it’s a light week.
Now, I just need to make better food choices most of the time. All of the time is too much. I like to say that I work out so I can eat!
