I worked out with my trainer last week, and he asked me how my eating was going. Well, immediately, I felt guilty, but said, “well, it’s not fantastic, but not horrible either!” Needless to say, he wasn’t completely satisfied with that answer. But was I completely satisfied with that answer???? Yes and no. I like to say that I workout so I can eat what I want. However, I KNOW that if I want to lose more weight, that I will have to eat better. Now, I was absolutely telling the truth when I said my eating wasn’t horrible because it isn’t, but I could definitely do better. And it’s not like I don’t already know what to do and what NOT to do. I’m a smart girl. LOL!
I’m getting my workouts in for sure. Let’s look at last week, shall we?
Monday – workout with trainer, Tuesday – tap, Thursday – zumba, Saturday – elliptical and treadmill. This coming Tuesday will be my first workout of the new week with tap. I’m definitely consistent, and I suspect that it’s my new life to incorporate working out. It’s not that new because I’ve been doing this, consistently, for over a year.
I won’t say food is a downfall because you need it for energy. I will say that I could make better choices. More salad, more lean protein, less carbs, blah, blah, BLAH!
