Well, last week was an ok workout week. Two scheduled workouts (Tuesday dance and Wednesday personal training) and then running around working a concessions table on Saturday. That was definitely more of a workout than I expected. I have to constantly remind myself that daily activities count. During the course of a day, I’m up and down stairs, walking the halls, shopping, etc. I’m burning calories, so it counts.
Now, this week is shaping up (sort of) to be a better workout week. I did zumba on Sunday, yesterday I trained with G to the tune of 50 BURPEES among other activities. We are in a new location, and he tells me that he’s finally seeing me sweat. Huh?! I sweat like a beast all the time! OH, and I had tap class yesterday too!
So, on to the explanation of the title. I think I am breaking the weight loss plateau that I was hanging out on. I hate to even put this in writing, but suspect I need to own it and keep doing what I’ve been doing. Or rather, keep doing what my trainer told me to do! *smirk* Eat more salads and use the treadmill. I must admit, I feel better when I eat better. I also must admit that I get most of my “salad” in my smoothies. I’m a spinach using somebody when it comes to blending up a smoothie! You can’t taste it, AND I get salad points! WOOT! You can’t beat that!
I’m going keep moving right along and take care of me. I’m feeling pretty darned good!
