Happy Wednesday, y’all!
Yesterday, before my last session with my trainer, I decided to start a food journal. Again. I’m not a fan of food journals, but I’m going to become a fan. Yes, I find it tedious. However, my body goes through things that I’m sure can be attributed to the food choices I make. Like bloating. I’m sure that is carb overload related. And it’s a heavy, uncomfortable bloating. Additionally, my trainer said that I’m one of the best athletes he’s trained and that my weight is ready to FALL OFF……if only I would eat better. So, yes, it’s time for a food journal again. I will begin with yesterday.
So, back to the last session with my trainer. I’m kinda sad and maybe a tad anxious. BUT, I’m not as anxious as I thought I would be. G has taught me a lot about fitness and myself. He’s tough, but encouraging. He’s also very real, and that’s a plus to me.
Back to food.
Although I am a multitasking fiend, it’s very hard to do it when it comes to fitness and food. It took me a long time to finally make fitness a priority. I had to do that FIRST before I could make better food choices. I don’t always eat horribly, and I FEEL the value of eating well. Now, it’s time to make eating well a priority. A habit. An automatic thing. NO, I’m not going to give up my favorite foods. I don’t believe in deprivation.
I’m looking forward to an evening of resting my body. Even though I feel like I didn’t work out enough over the last week, I know I put my body through some stuff. Allow me to share!
Tuesday, April 30 – work out with trainer and tap class
Friday, May 3 – work out with trainer and work concessions from 6-9 PM
Saturday, May 4 – work concessions from 3-8 PM
Sunday, May 5 – work concessions from 7-12 AM
Tuesday, May 7 – work out with trainer and tap class
Now, being on my feet all week has not be nice on my feet and ankles. Let me find out I still have some swelling just from that. Kinda sucks.
For the remainder of the week, I know that I will get a run in and some zumba. I hope to get more than one run in though. Hell, more than one zumba class should be on my schedule!
Anyway, I’ve just fallen into ramble mode, so it’s time for me to end this post!
