It’s been a couple of weeks since I’ve written, and my last entry was about day 3 of my food journal. Well, I’ve kinda gotten off track with that. I’m still aware of what I eat, so that’s good. I’m dropping weight bit by bit! I’m glad because I was at this weird neverending plateau that was driving me friggin’ nuts! However, by not journaling for the past few days, I seem to have allowed more carbs in. Time to reign it in! Basically, food journaling is a great exercise, and I’d like to pick it back up and continue through June if I can. It’s annoying as hell, but helpful!
I’m still exercising. I miss my trainer and know I need to push myself harder than I do now. I know what to do. I know how much to do. I just need to do it.
I run once a week right now. I need to amp up to twice a week, then three times. I keep thinking that I should run outside, then I rethink that. I’m not outdoorsy AT ALL, and now that the cicadas are flying around crazy, I’m REALLY not outdoorsy.
So, a run and zumba tomorrow morning and possibly zumba on Sunday morning. I’m gonna get back to my Wednesday zumba class as well. AND add another running day. Losing the weight feels good. I just need to keep it up. Perhaps a size 16 will be just around the corner!
