Good morning and Happy Wednesday!
For the past 2 weeks, I’ve gotten in 4 workouts each week! AND, I’m on track to do that again this week! I’m feeling good and loving that I have gotten back up to speed.
I’ve also been varying my workouts a little more. I tried a couple of new classes. A kickboxing/zumba combo and a go-go dance fitness class. The kickboxing/zumba combo is AWESSOME! (Thanks, Vallerie!) I will go as often as I can! The go-go dance fitness class? Not so much. Don’t get me wrong, it was a “gym check” and a decent workout, but I don’t think it was enough of a workout for me. Go figure!
I’ve also turned my house into a cross-training circuit. Stairs, weights, squats, it can all be done right at home!
I do want to add yoga, aqua fit and spinning at some point. I’ve done yoga and aqua fit, but spinning scares me to death! But, I figure if I can do the Warrior Dash, I should be able to handle a spinning class.
OH, and my sister has gone and bumped her head and suggested that we train for a 5K. Yep, she fell down all right!
I know I’ve said this before, and I will keep on saying it……I’m SO glad that fitness is a part of my life!!!! I have so many motivators too! We lift each other up, and it’s wonderful!
What will the (near) future hold for me? A spinning class, MAYBE a 5K, better eating habits…..who knows?! I know that I’m active and healthy enough to do ANYTHING I put my mind to.
