It seems I’ve been a little MIA. I’m still here. I’m still doin’ the do. I’m still on my fitness journey.
The past few weeks have been busy! I had a couple of weeks where I didn’t get my 4 workouts in, but no worries because I certainly made up for it!
Week of October 6 (3):
Sunday – Kickboxing/Zumba
Tuesday – Fell-and-cut-my-foot-and-can’t-go-to-zumba-on-Wednesday day
Friday/Saturday – Crew the Breast Cancer 3-Day!
Week of October 13 (5):
Sunday – Crew the Breast Cancer 3-Day!
Wednesday – Zumba
Thursday – Slacker Circuit at home
Saturday (A.M.) – Zumba
Saturday (P.M.) – Zumbathon
So far this week, I have had kickboxing/zumba this past Sunday.
I have a standing invitation to join a 3x per week circuit, but I haven’t made it yet. I totally plan to…..at some point. Maybe not 3x per week, but something. I’m finding it hard to balance working out and the rest of my life. Don’t get me wrong, fitness is absolutely a priority, but I’m simply not a work-out-everyday type of chick. I need time to spend with my family and friends, time for hobbies, time for volunteer work, time for NAPS!!! OK – I really don’t take naps all the time, but I have a lot of interests, and damn it, I like to spend downtime IN MY HOUSE!
I had a great workout weekend this past weekend! Zumba, zumbathon, kickboxing/zumba! The zumbathon on Saturday was NO JOKE! 5 of us went together, and we were ALL worn out afterwards. Then, 4 of us got up the next morning for kickboxing/zumba. I’m still not sure how we made it through Sunday’s workout.
I’m still getting my fitness motivation where I can and inspiration when I least expect it. Maybe one day, I’ll be smaller than a size 18, but until then, I’ll love the body I have!
